MSNBC host Katy Tur asked a guest Monday if stories that make the Obama administration look bad undermine democracy and help Russia.
Referencing the bombshell reports that Obama National Security Advisor Susan Rice tried to “unmask” Trump tranisition officials on whom the intelligence community surveilled, Tur asked, “A story like we just saw in Bloomberg and also the same story that was in the Pizzagate-guy’s media blog post – do stories like that advance what Russia is trying to do in order to undermine our democratic institutions?”
Tur’s guest, Clinton Watts, replied that these stories do advance Russia’s interests and referred to the reports as “false stories.”
