Trump aide Kellyanne Conway said on CBS This Morning that President Trump will appoint a pro-life justice to serve on the Supreme Court.
CBS’s Norah O’Donnell asked Conway if President Trump will appoint a Supreme Court justice that will repeal Roe v. Wade, the Supreme Court decision that legalized abortion in America.
“Donald Trump promised as the candidate in that unbelievable, impassioned defense of life, on that October 19 debate against Hillary Clinton, that he would appoint pro-life justices to the United States Supreme Court,” Conway told O’Donnell. “This is a pro-life administration, and it’s really high time that we as a nation say to ourselves, if we don’t protect and promote the culture of life, then really who are we as a nation?”
Friday marks the 43rd March for Life in Washington, DC, a peaceful rally protesting abortion. Vice President Mike Pence and Conway are both expected to speak at the rally.
