Sens. Lindsey Graham (R-SC) and John McCain (R-AZ) sat down with NBC’s Chuck Todd to discuss the Senates investigation into Russian hacking and its influence on the 2016 presidential election.
Graham told Todd that the senators do not believe Russian hacking affected the outcome of the election.
“I haven’t heard any Democrat at all of prominence say that ‘we doubt that Donald Trump won.’ Putin is not the reason that Clinton lost, and Trump won. I don’t think anybody’s saying that,” Graham said.
Graham believes that Trump is skeptical of the intelligence because Trump thinks it undermines his presidency, a notion that Graham disagrees with.
