The acting FBI director promised to go to the Senate for more resources if they are needed.
Acting FBI Director Andrew McCabe informed the Senate Intelligence Committee that the FBI has the adequate resources to investigate the possibility of collusion between the Trump campaign and Russia, during a hearing on Thursday.
Sen. Kamala Harris (D-CA) asked McCabe if he thought that the FBI was adequately resourced to investigate the possibility of collusion between the Trump campaign and Russia.
It has been widely reported that before former FBI Director James Comey was fired, he had requested additional resources from the Department of Justice for the investigation.
McCabe said that he thought the FBI had the resources it needed to conduct the investigation properly.
Harris asked McCabe if he would commit to coming to the Senate Intelligence Committee if additional resources were needed. McCabe agreed.
