Hilary Clinton’s campaign manager Robby Mook appeared on CNN’s New Day to discuss FBI Director James Comey reopening its investigation into Hillary Clinton’s email practices.
Mook decided to reiterate false Democratic talking points regarding who Comey sent his letter too.
“What Director Comey did feel compelled to do was send a letter to Republican chairman saying we found some emails,” Mook told CNN’s Chris Cuomo.
The Clinton campaign for days has been falsely claiming that Comey only sent his letter to Republican members of Congress, something that Fox News’ Chris Wallace fact-checked Mook on over the weekend.
