MSNBC’s Mika Brzezinski asked what the message of the Democratic Party was following Tuesday’s loss.
MSNBC’s Mika Brzezinski and Joe Scarborough were highly critical of the Democratic Party’s approach to winning elections following Tuesday night’s election results in South Carolina’s 5th Congressional District and Georgia’s 6th Congressional District.
“Marching in the streets – great pictures, makes you look good, does not win elections,” said Scarborough during a panel discussion about the Democratic Parties strategy on “Morning Joe.”
“Here is what I said to one of my best friends who took part in the Women’s March, they’re great but you’re shouting in the street, you’re chanting, you’re singing, with people who agree with you,” Brzezinski added.
Brzezinski suggested that Democrats time would be better spent knocking on doors rather than protesting in the streets with people who agree with them.
“We’re seeing the same problem that we’ve seen all along. The same problem we saw when we had the second in command of the DNC on the show who just seemed to be going off and spouting come on man, we’re good, we’re going to be good,” Brzezinski said in closing. “No! What’s the message?”
