The hosts of MSNBC’s Morning Joe spent the better part of their morning on Tuesday bashing the Trump administration for their handling of National Security Advisor Mike Flynn; in particular, they criticized senior Trump advisor Kellyanne Conway.
Kellyanne Conway told MSNBC’s Steve Kornacki on Monday afternoon that Flynn still enjoyed the “full confidence of the president.” Later that night, Flynn resigned from his post as National Security Advisor.
“How many times does she go out and say things that aren’t true?” MSNBC’s Mika Brzezinski asked the panel.
MSNBC’s Joe Scarborough interjected, “blatantly false.”
Brzezinski then declared, “I will not interview her. It’s giving people dishonesty.”
Scarborough went on to say: “If she’s not lying, Willie, she is actually what I’ve heard she is so out of the loop. She’s in none of the meetings, and she just goes out there and starts talking without having the facts.”
Scarborough said Conway has “been out of the loop for months now. She will go in and get a picture with the president, do a selfie with the president.”
CNN had previously barred Conway from appearing on their network, something that only lasted 48 hours, however.
