“I guess lawyers are like political hacks sometimes.”
MSNBC Chief Legal Correspondent Ari Melber hit Massachusetts Attorney General Maura Healey as a “political hack” following Healey’s appearance on Nicolle Wallace’s program on Monday.
Healey tried to spin the Supreme Court decision that held up much of President Trump’s travel ban as a win for opponents of the president.
“I guess lawyers are like political hacks sometimes,” Melber said to laughs from the panel.
Melber added that the decision was “better than what [the Trump administration was] expecting.”
Healey has been mentioned as a possible 2018 challenger to popular Republican Massachusetts Governor Charlie Baker.
