Jason Johnson suggested that the President’s tweets could constitute obstruction of justice.
MSNBC political analyst Jason Johnson suggested that President Trump’s tweets could be considered obstruction of justice on Thursday.
“You look at the criminal code for obstruction of justice. It says ‘endeavor.’ That’s really broad,” Johnson said of the statute.
“If you’re tweeting every day that this investigation is garbage, that the people are bad, you are endeavoring to at least stymie or at least freeze or concern people about the investigation,” he said.
“[Trump] is doing exactly the thing he’s being investigated for,” Johnson added.
