On Friday, the panel on MSNBC’s Morning Joe lead by Mika Brzezinski accused President Tump of being a “fake president” after Trump’s attacks on the “fake news” media during his Thursday press conference.
“This presidency doesn’t feel real,” Brzezinski told the panel after watching clips from President Trump’s Thursday press conference.
MSNBC’s Joe Scarborough asked Brzezinski if she thought this was then a “fake presidency.”
“It’s a fake presidency. I’m at that point,” she said.
“We have a president who goes out in front of America for an hour and ten minutes, riffing and just making up stuff and throwing out lies right and left. Our president. This is our president,” Brzezinski added.
NBC’s Katy Tur interjected that this is the same person that we saw throughout the campaign and anyone who thought Trump would become more presidential was mistaken.
Brzezinski then accused President Trump of caring more about attacking the media than making sure America is safe.
“He is giving off the appearance that things are getting done and that is what is resonating with the people that voted for him,” Tur told the panel following Brzezinski’s remarks.
