MSNBC: More Democrats Bucking Hillary Clinton Than Republicans Bucking Donald Trump

On Monday, members of the Electoral College met across the country to formally elect Donald Trump as president. Going into the day, there was hope amongst disgruntled Democrats that electors would vote their conscious and reject Donald Trump.

However, that does not appear to be the case as MSNBC’s Mark Murray reports, “We have actually seen reports out of Washington state – a state that Hillary Clinton won by 16 percentage points – where some Bernie Sanders delegates in that state ended up casting their electoral college votes for people other than Hillary Clinton.”

“The story of today might well be that there are more Democrats bucking Hillary Clinton than Republicans bucking Donald Trump,” Murray went on to say.
