According to multiple Obama administration officials, President Obama warned President-elect Trump against hiring Flynn in their first Oval Office meeting.
MSNBC’s Peter Alexander reported on Monday that former President Obama warned then-President-elect Trump against hiring Michael Flynn during their first meeting after Trump’s election win.
“We have now confirmed that President Trump, during that 90-minute Oval Office meeting that took place with President Obama here at the White House, less than 48 hours after President Trump won – when he was then President-Elect Trump – was warned by President Obama against hiring Mike Flynn,” Alexander reported.
Alexander went on to report that President Obama also warned then-President-elect Trump about North Korea during that meeting.
