MSNBC: Trump Admin’s First Press Briefing Was ‘Substantive’ and ‘Responsive’

White House Press Secretary Sean Spicer held his first press briefing Monday, and the reviews are in.

MSNBC’s Andrea Mitchell said Sean Spicer handled himself well in his first briefing after he received considerable criticism from the media for comments he made in the press briefing room Saturday evening regarding President Trump’s inauguration.

“I think it was a reboot, you know, a chance to start over, frankly, a do-over,” Mitchell told MSNBC’s Kate Snow. “It was substantive. It was responsive. He took lots of questions. He said that he intended to tell the truth, which is an important line to draw.”
