Following the announcement that President Trump had fired FBI Director James Comey, NBC News’ Pete Williams reported how the move had drawn support from both the Republican and Democratic ranking members of the Senate Judiciary Committee on Tuesday night.
“It’s interesting tonight that there’s been bipartisan support for this move by the President,” Williams reported following the decision.
Williams cited how both Sen. Charles Grassley (R-IA) and Sen. Dianne Feinstein (D-CA) the chairman and ranking member of the Senate Judiciary Committee, respectively, both supported the move.
