The nonprofit 45Committee is out with a new ad praising Donald Trump’s nominee for Education Secretary, Betsy DeVos.
“Across the country, too many kids are trapped in failing schools. We need to shake things up. That’s what Betsy DeVos will do as Secretary of Education,” the ad says.
The narrator then touts DeVos’ impressive background: “A thirty-year education reform leader, DeVos is committed to strengthening public education, increasing accountability and expanding opportunity for disadvantaged students. Betsy DeVos won’t let Washington hold our kids back.”
The ad closes by asking constituents to tell their senator “to vote to reform and improve our schools” and confirm Betsy DeVos as Secretary of Education.
