The new NRSC ad notes that Casey has voted “with extreme liberals 92% of the time.”
The National Republican Senate Committee (NRSC) released a new ad attacking Sen. Bob Casey (D-PA) for voting with “extreme liberals 92 percent of the time,” and paints the Pennsylvania senator as a flip-flopper.
The digital ad, which was released on Thursday, is titled, “The New Bob Casey.”
“The 2006 Bob Casey is gone,” the ad’s narrator says as the words “pro-life, pro-gun, independent,” appear next to a picture of Casey.
“The new Bob Casey: just another Washington liberal,” the narrator continued. “Supports the abortion lobby, supports sweeping gun control, and votes with extreme liberals 92 percent of the time.”
The narrator concluded the ad by saying, “Tell Bob Casey to work for Pennsylvania, not liberal special interests.”
Republicans are bullish that they might be able to flip Casey’s seat in 2018. Pennsylvania is a state that President Trump and Sen. Pat Toomey (R-PA) both won in 2016.
