The ad, entitled “Slots,” begins with the narrator saying, “Attorney General Mark Herring ignored Virginia law and gave the children of illegal immigrants in-state tuition and admission slots designated for Virginia students.”
“Now thousands of Virginia can lose out on access to a college education,” the narrator continued.
After this sequence, Adams appears on screen and promises represent Virginians’ interests: “As Attorney General, I’ll make sure precious admission slots and in-state benefits are only for Virginia kids. If your family has been paying taxes and living here you deserve it, and no one else”
Recent polling has the race to be Virginia’s attorney general in a statistical tie between Adams and Herring.
