The anti-Clinton super PAC Future45 is out with a new ad titled, “Bad News,” that attempts to tie Hillary Clinton to Richard Nixon.
The ad starts with Nixon saying, “People have got to know whether or not their President is a crook.”
“Bad news for Hillary Clinton, the FBI Director agrees,” the ad’s narrator begins, following the Nixon clip.
“Clinton has faced numerous criminal investigations and been called extremely carless by the FBI. Now a new bombshell,” the ad’s narrator goes on to say, which is followed by a clip of CBS News’ Scott Pelly reporting on the FBI reopening its investigation into Clinton’s email practices.
“How can we elect someone who is under FBI investigation?” the narrator asks in closing.
“Bad News” is part of a $10 million national buy according to the group.
