The Judicial Crisis Network (JCN) is out with a new ad titled “The Ginsburg Rule,” that will target Washington D.C and aims at reaching opinion leaders and lawmakers ahead of the confirmation hearings for Judge Neil Gorsuch.
The ad opens by highlighting how Democrats are attacking Gorsuch because he will not support their radical agenda if nominated to Supreme Court.
The ad then shifts to footage of Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg’s confirmation hearing, which shows Ginsburg dodging questions.
“Democrats even encouraged dodging questions,” the ad’s narrator says.
Then-Sen. Joe Biden (D-DE) says during the ad, “you not only have a right to choose what you want to answer and not answer. But, in my view, you should not answer a question of what your view will be.”
The ad’s narrator then says, “more than 70 times Ruth Bader Ginsburg wouldn’t answer.”
The ad closes by asking people to remember that, when Democrats complain about Gorsuch not answering questions, Democrats had previously told Ginsburg it is her right not to answer a question.
