The Republican National Committee is out with a new web ad touting the qualifications of President Trump’s Supreme Court nominee, Judge Neil Gorsuch.
The ad starts with multiple reporters reading Gorsuch’s impressive resume, pointing out Gorsuch’s degrees from Columbia, Harvard, and Oxford.
Then the ad mentions that Gorsuch clerked for Supreme Court justices Byron White and Anthony Kennedy.
“Judge Neil Gorsuch certainly fits the conservative archetype,” says Fox News reporter John Roberts.
ABC’s Jon Karl dubs Gorsuch “Scalia 2.0” in the ad.
While Judge Andrew Napolitano says of President Trump’s nominee, “Judge Gorsuch ranks really high. If President Trump nominates Judge Gorsuch, he will be producing exactly what he said he would be producing.”
The ad closes with President Trump’s remarks from Gorsuch’s nomination ceremony.
