Republican National Committee Chair Ronna Romney McDaniel, in an appearance on Fox News Tuesday, praised President Trump’s first month in office and criticized Democrats for “obstruction.”
“I think he’s doing a great job. I think he’s had a lot of obstacles,” Romney McDaniel said.
“The obstruction of the Democrats not working with this President, not giving him time to seat his cabinet or to listen to his message or work with him, that is a problem that he’s dealt with from day one.”
Romney McDaniel also lauded Trump’s economic chops, saying it has spurred an economic boom: “Ford is investing more, Dow [Chemical]. He wants to make us the most competitive nation in the world and he’s working to achieve that.”
Romney McDaniel ascended to the chairmanship of the RNC after former Chairman Reince Priebus became Trump’s chief of staff.
