The Republican National Committee used Congressional Democrats’ own words on Supreme Court nominees against them in a new ad released Wednesday.
With an intense soundtrack reinforcing their words, the ad depicted Democratic Congressional Leaders, shrouded in a cloudy glaze, pontificating on Republicans’ refusal to consider the nomination of Merrick Garland.
Senator Schumer (D-NY) introduced the argument of the video, “Everyday that goes by without a ninth justice is another day the American people’s business is not getting done.”
Representative Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) and Senators Feinstein (D-CA), Leahy (D-VT), and Warren (D-MA) told cameras, “Do your job,” to close out one of the first Republican ads in the Supreme Court fight.
