The president’s nicknames are catching on with other world leaders.
Asked about President Trump’s use of the moniker “Rocket Man” to describe North Korea’s Kim Jong-Un in his Tuesday United Nations speech, UN Ambassador Nikki Haley said that other world leaders have been using the pejorative to mock the North Korean leader.
Haley told CBS that she knew in advance the president would use the insult in his speech to the UN, but added the nickname had caught on.
“Just to let you know what this does, I had a meeting with the president of Uganda the day before and he was referring to Kim as ‘Rocket Man,’ before the president even gave the speech,” Haley said.
Kim may not be the man they think he is at home.
