Eric Holder, President Obama’s attorney general and a Democrat, signed on to a letter endorsing Christopher Wray, President Trump’s pick to lead the FBI after he fired James Comey.
The letter, flagged by Huffington Post reporter Ryan J. Reilly and other reporters, spoke in glowing terms of Wray’s resume and reputation:

Among other words of praise, the attorneys told Senate Judiciary Committee Chairman Chuck Grassley (R-IA) and Ranking Member Dianne Feinstein (D-CA) that “[m]any of us have worked closely with Chris, know him personally, and can attest to his outstanding reputation – both during his time in government and private practice.”
