President Obama recorded a series of ads for Democrats in Florida, Illinois, and Minnesota…
With less than three weeks to go before the election, President Obama – he of the 51 percent approval rating – is cutting ads for Democrats in House and Senate races across the country.
This push comes the same week that the Clinton-backing super PAC Priorities USA Action began pivoting to Senate ads in states like Pennsylvania and New Hampshire.
See below for the new Obama ads:
Obama goes all in for Rep. Patrick Murphy (D-FL) as he seeks to unseat Sen. Marco Rubio (R-FL). The ad is in Spanish, although neither Obama nor Murphy are fluent:
The next ad is for former Rep. Brad Schneider (D-IL), who is running against incumbent Rep. Bob Dold (R-IL). The IL-10 district is just outside Obama’s hometown of Chicago:
And Obama also cut an ad for Terri Bonoff (D-MN) for the MN-03 seat currently held by Rep. Erik Paulsen (R-MN). In the ad, Obama explains that Bonoff is the mother of one of his aides, Joe Paulsen (no relation):
