Rep. Debbie Dingell (D-MI) defended Obamacare on Wednesday by citing her husband’s work on the health care law.
Dingell said: “I can you tell that on behalf of [Rep.] John Dingell [D-MI], President Ted Kennedy – or Ted Kennedy, should have been – President Franklin Delano Roosevelt, and the generations of other leaders who fought for the right of every American for a quality, affordable health care, we cannot let you take health care away from people who need it most.”
The only problem with that? Dingell’s husband, former Rep. John Dingell (D-MI) is perhaps best known on the Obamacare front for saying in 2010 that the law will “control the people”:
