Nancy Pelosi told MSNBC’s Morning Joe that she was “very proud of the dignity” that Democrats showed during President Trump’s address to a Joint Session of Congress Tuesday night.
That statement, however, clashes with Democrats actual behavior in the chamber. Some members refused to attend the speech altogether, while many of those in attendance broke out in laughter twice during Trump’s speech. Democrats rushed for the exits immediately following the conclusion of the speech.
Pelosi has struggled in recent days, like when during an appearance before Families USA, Pelosi nonsensically repeated words and asked the audience the clap.
