The House minority leader is not pleased that Trump has expanded his travel ban.
Following President Trump’s expansion of his travel ban to include non-Muslim majority countries North Korea and Venezuela, House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) insisted on continuing calling the order a “Muslim ban.”
“It’s still a Muslim ban. It’s worse than the previous Muslim ban,” Pelosi said.
The California congresswoman also criticized Trump’s negative attitude toward immigration and foreigners.
The president updated his travel ban on Sunday to include Chad, North Korea, and Venezuela, all countries that have questionable government stability. Fifty-three percent of Chad’s population are Muslim, while around forty-three percent are Christian. Venezuela is predominantly Catholic, and North Korea worships its leader, Kim Jong-un.
