House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) promised on Thursday that if Democrats retake the House of Representatives in 2018 they will pass a $15 minimum wage within 100 hours.
“I’ll tell you one thing for sure: we win the election, in the first 100 hours we will pass a $15 minimum wage,” Pelosi told supporters of $15 minimum wage, to enthusiastic applause.
