The House Minority Leader, however, wouldn't say whether she would support impeaching Trump.

House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) said that an ad paid for by billionaire Tom Steyer that calls for President Trump to be impeached is a “great ad,” during an interview on MSNBC on Sunday.

CNN reported about the ad titled “Join Us,” on Friday:

Democratic mega-donor and billionaire environmentalist Tom Steyer is spending what an aide says is “well over $10 million” on a national TV ad campaign Friday calling for President Donald Trump’s impeachment.

The campaign is a bid by Steyer — who has not ruled out a run for office himself — to “demand that elected officials take a stand” on an issue Democratic leaders have so far largely avoided.

MSNBC’s Joy Reid played a portion of the ad for Pelosi. After watching the ad, Pelosi remarked that it was a “great ad.”

Reid then asked Pelosi whether she would support impeaching Trump if she becomes Speaker of the House after the 2018 midterm elections.

Pelosi dodged the questions telling Reid that impeachment is about the facts and the law and that if Trump has broken the law, she believes there would be bipartisan support for his impeachment.
