President Trump shot down criticism of House Speaker Paul Ryan at an event following the successful vote to repeal and replace Obamacare on Thursday.
“For the last week I’ve been hearing, ‘Paul Ryan doesn’t have it, it’s not working with Paul Ryan, he’s going to get rid of Paul Ryan,'” Trump said of the criticism.
“Then, today I heard, ‘Paul Ryan’s a genius,'” Trump said, to laughs.
