President Donald Trump had an interview with MSNBC’s Craig Melvin, during which he informed Melvin that his new executive order regarding immigration would attempt to take care of DREAMers.
DREAMers “include any illegal immigrant who claims they came into the country before the age of 16, has been here continuously for five years, and is currently under 35 years old.”
Melvin asked President Trump about an executive order that could come out on Tuesday afternoon that would address immigration.
“We have to have a safe country. We have to let people come in that are going to love the country,” Trump informed Melvin. “We have to let people come in that are going to be positive for our country.”
Melvin pressed Trump about DREAMers, and whether they would be affected by this executive order.
“We’re going to try and take care of the DREAMers very, very well,” Trump told Melvin.
