Evangelical pastors gathered outside the Supreme Court to offer up the first public prayer for President Trump’s Supreme Court nominee, Judge Neil Gorsuch.
During one of the Pastors remarks, he stated: “We are going to ask God to lead and direct Judge Gorsuch. We are going to ask that this confirmation hearing run smoothly. But most importantly, we are going to ask that this judge would honor the Constitution. Would respect what is etched above those pillars. Equal justice under law. That he would be a person, who would seek God, who would embrace human rights and justice for all. And he would be the justice who would help overturn Roe v. Wade.”
At the mention of overturning Roe v. Wade, protesters lost it and started viciously booing the pastors that had gathered on the Supreme Court steps.
