Following Clinton’s pneumonia diagnosis, her campaign released additional medical records in an effort to put the issue of her health to rest…
Hillary Clinton’s campaign released additional medical records Wednesday afternoon following an episode on Sunday in which Clinton appeared to faint at a 9/11 memorial service in Manhattan.
Included in the records were revelations about a small tube that was placed in Clinton’s ear in January to clear up a sinus infection and a CT scan on Friday, which resulted in Clinton’s pneumonia diagnosis.
Clinton’s records included a letter from her physician, Dr. Lisa Bardack, which stated the 68 year-old Democratic nominee is “recovering well with antibiotics and rest” and that she “continues to remain healthy and fit to serve as President of the United States.” The doctor’s note makes a point to say Clinton is in “excellent mental condition.”
Clinton released initial medical records in July 2015, but Sunday’s news prompted the campaign to release additional records this week. The campaign also released vice presidential nominee Tim Kaine’s medical records.
