Brian Karem of the Sentinel newspapers mansplained to the White House Deputy Press Secretary how press briefings are supposed to work.
Brian Karem of the Sentinel newspapers disrespectfully lectured White House Deputy Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders at a press briefing on Tuesday.
Sanders was discussing the fake news that CNN had peddled in recent days when Karem interrupted and began yelling at her.
“This administration has done that as well,” Karem said, referencing Sanders’ accusations of fake news toward the media.
“Any one of us are replaceable, and anyone of us if we don’t get it right, the audience has the opportunity to turn the channel or not read us,” Karem said.
Sanders attempted to answer his tirade, but Karem continued on, undaunted.
“You have been elected to serve four years, at least. There’s no option other than that,” he said.
“We’re here to ask you questions. You’re here to provide the answers. And what you just did is inflammatory to people all over the country who look at it and say, ‘See, once again, the president is right, and everybody else out here is fake media,'” Karem lectured.
Sanders stood her ground and slammed the “dishonesty” of the media. She called his outburst “outrageous.”
