Sen. Lindsey Graham asked the former acting attorney general the question everyone was dying to know.
Former acting Attorney General Sally Yates informed the Senate Judiciary Subcommittee on Russian that she did not know how classified information ended up in news reports.
“How did the conversation between the Russian Ambassador and Mr. Flynn make it to the Washington Post,” Sen. Lindsey Graham asked Yates at the hearing on Monday.
The question is one to which everyone, including President Trump, was interested in knowing the answer.
Ask Sally Yates, under oath, if she knows how classified information got into the newspapers soon after she explained it to W.H. Counsel.

Former Director of National Intelligence James Clapper told Graham that he did not know the answer to that.
“Nor do I,” Yates told Graham.
There has been speculation that Yates leaked the information to the Washington Post following her meeting with the White House general counsel, which eventually lead to her being fired.
