Bernie Sanders (I-VT) appeared on CBS’s “Face The Nation” to discuss the state of the race ahead of the first presidential debate.
John Dickerson asked Sanders about reports that progressives like Senator Elizabeth Warren (D-MA) intend to block any Clinton cabinet nomination they consider too close to Wall Street and if Sanders would support their efforts.
Sanders told Dickerson that he does intend to support progressives in their efforts to vet and veto possible Clinton administration appointments.
