Scaramucci: Fire Steve Bannon

The former White House Communications Director also accused Bannon of leaking information to the press.

Former White House Communications Director Anthony Scaramucci recommended that President Trump fire chief strategist Steve Bannon in an appearance on Stephen Colbert’s show Monday night.

Scaramucci reiterated his belief that Bannon, the former CEO of conservative news site Breitbart, has been leaking information to the press to the detriment of the administration’s agenda.

“What does The Mooch think?” Colbert asked him about Bannon’s future.

“If it was up to me, he’d be gone,” Scaramucci responded. “But it’s not up to me.”

He said that he doesn’t believe Bannon to be a white supremacist, but disapproved of “the toleration of” white supremacy in Bannon’s world.

The Mooch, who had previously told The New Yorker‘s Ryan Lizza that Bannon was trying to ‘suck his c**k,’ said that the chief strategist probably didn’t have the physical capability to pull off the feat of flexibility.

“[Bannon’s] probably doing hot yoga in there or something,” he said.
