The new White House Communications Director also slammed disloyalty to the president.
New White House Communications Director Anthony Scaramucci slammed leakers inside the White House in an appearance on CNN on Wednesday.
“[Leaking is] disloyal to the president. It’s disloyal to the institution of the presidency. And it’s bad for America,” Scaramucci told CNN’s Chris Cuomo.
“Right now we serve one person and his agenda – that’s the president of the United States. You are not serving the president’s agenda if you are nefariously leaking on people,” he said.
Scaramucci expressed a realist attitude toward leaks in his interview though.
“I know that we’re never going end all of the leaking,” he said. “But I want to put a culture in place where people trust each other.”
