The new White House communications director praised the president’s abilities (including athletic).
New White House Communications Director Anthony Scaramucci told reporters at a White House press briefing on Friday that the Trump administration is “going to do a lot of winning.”
“The president’s a winner, and what we’re going to do is we’re going to do a lot of winning,” he said.
Scaramucci praised President Trump for his competitiveness.
“I’ve seen [Trump] throw a dead spiral through a tire,” Scaramucci said, referencing football. “I’ve seen him at Madison Square Garden with a topcoat on, he’s standing in the key, and he’s hitting foul shots and swishing them. He sinks 3-foot putts.”
Scaramucci’s hiring comes at a contentious period in the Trump White House, as many in the administration opposed his appointment.
