Sen. Dick Durbin (D-IL) expressed optimism that Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT) will eventually hand over his email list to the Democratic National Committee (DNC) during an interview on MSNBC’s Morning Joe.
During an interview on CNN’s State of the Union on Sunday, Sanders dodged on whether or not he would indeed hand over his email list to the DNC.
Mark Halperin asked Durbin if he will urge Sanders to hand over that email list to the DNC.
Durbin was reluctant to say how much pressure establishment Democrats are willing to put on Sanders to get the list, saying: “I think Bernie Sanders is going to help us build our majority in the United States Senate. How he’s going to do it, I can’t say.”
When Halperin pressed Durbin if he would specifically ask Sanders to hand over the email list, Durbin responded that he will and that Democrats are.
