On Wednesday, President Obama will travel to Capitol Hill to talk with Democrats about salvaging his signature piece of legislation, Obamacare.
Sen. Joe Manchin (D-WV) appeared on MSNBC’s Morning Joe to discuss the meeting and informed host Joe Scarborough he would not be attending the meeting.
“In good conscience, I can’t do it,” Manchin said. “If anyone listened and paid attention to what the American people said when they voted, they want this place to work.”
Manchin went on to say, “I’ve been here for six years. We haven’t fixed very many things, and anyone who has trust or belief that we will fix it, they’re living in fantasy land.”
