The Senate Leadership Fund is going after Sen. Jeff Flake’s primary challenger.
The Senate Leadership Fund is hitting Sen. Jeff Flake’s (R-AZ) primary opponent, State Senator “Chemtrail Kelli” Ward, in a new ad exposing her openness to conspiracy theories.
The ad begins by reminding Arizona voters that they rejected Ward last year, when she challenged Sen. John McCain in the Republican primary.
“Ward wasted your tax dollars for a town hall on chemtrail conspiracy theories,” the narrator says, also pointing out that she introduced legislation based on the conspiracy.
Then the ad points out that Ward “bizzarely blamed John McCain for ISIS.”
“John McCain is directly responsible for the rise of ISIS,” Ward tells a microphone with an InfoWars logo on it. The narrator then mentions that Ward had called for “restraint and realism” in the fight against terrorists.
The ad blasts Ward for her comments on John McCain following his cancer diagnosis, where she called for the senator to step down so that she could take his place.
“Chemtrail Kelli Ward. Not conservative. Just crazy ideas,” the ad concludes.
