NTK Network has obtained exclusive video of Ohio’s Democratic candidate for U.S. Senate, Ted Strickland, speaking at the Columbus Metropolitan Club on Wednesday.
WARNING: Strickland’s language in this video could be highly offensive to some.
While discussing Ohio’s charter schools, Strickland told the room, “Now we have seen Ohio taxpayers raped by the charter school for-profit entities in this state and the e-school. It’s shameful, it is shameful, it’s an embarrassment.”
These comments presumably won’t help Strickland’s struggling Senate campaign. A recent Quinnipiac poll had Strickland trailing Sen. Rob Portman (R-OH) by 17 points in the state.
This isn’t Strickland’s first major gaffe of the cycle, either. NTK Network released exclusive audio back in August of Strickland joking that Justice Scalia’s death “happened at a good time.”
