Eleanor Smeal, who serves as a co-chair for the National Organization for Women (NOW) bragged about how “A Day Without a Woman” protest has caused school districts and hospitals to close across the country.
Smeal’s comments came during a speech at Washington D.C.’s “A Day Without a Woman” protest, with NOW President Terry O’Neill standing alongside her.
“This is a day without women. We have closed school districts, we have closed hospitals,” Smeal shouted, while O’Neill and the crowd of protesters cheered loudly.
It has been previously reported how “A Day Without a Woman” protest will put thousands of parents “in a bind.” It seems that leaders of this protest are proud of that fact.
