The British Prime Minister delivered a strong statement in response to the London terrorist attack.
British Prime Minister Theresa May delivered a strong statement Sunday morning in response to Saturday’s terror attacks in London.
“Since the emergence of the threat from Islamist-inspired terrorism, our country has made significant progress in disrupting plots and protecting the public,” May said, praising the response of British security services.
“But it is time to say, ‘enough is enough,'” she continued. “Everybody needs to go about their lives as they normally would.”
May promised that this week’s general elections would go on as planned.
“We must pull together and united, we will take on and defeat our enemies,” she concluded.
The United Kingdom suffered its third major terrorist attack this year on Saturday night as three attackers hit various ‘soft targets’ in London.
