Billionaire J.B. Pritzker called on people to use the opposite gender’s bathroom to show their opposition to President Trump.
Billionaire J.B. Pritzker who was Hillary Clinton’s second largest donor during the 2016 election called on people to use the opposite gender’s bathroom to show their opposition to President Trump.
On Thursday morning, Pritzker tweeted:
As a protest against Trump's rescinding protections for trans kids, everyone should use the other gender's bathroom today! #protecttranskids
— J.B. Pritzker (@JBPritzker) February 23, 2017
Pritzker’s tweet is in reaction to President Trump revoking guidelines on Wednesday specifying that transgender students have the right to use public school restrooms that match their gender identity.
Legendary Illinois political reporter Rich Miller said that the tweet was, “kind of unclear on the actual concept.”
Earlier this month, Pritzker released a statement saying he was “seriously considering” a run for Governor in Illinois and Politico is reporting that Pritzker is leaning on Rahm Emanuel’s political network for support.
