Sen. Tim Kaine (D-VA) accused President Trump and his administration of being Holocaust deniers during an interview on NBC’s Meet the Press.
NBC’s Chuck Todd asked Kaine about President Trump’s executive action restricting people from seven Muslim-majority countries from entering the United States.
“The irony is not lost on me that it was issued the same day as the White House issued their Holocaust Remembrance Day proclamation that unlike any previous administration removed all reference to Jews,” Kaine told Todd. “We have to remember this. This is what Holocaust denial is.”
This is an outrageous claim from Senator Kaine considering that President Trump’s daughter, Ivanka Trump, converted to Orthodox Judaism when she married Jared Kushner, a Senior Advisor to the President and a well-known member of the Jewish community.
