The Ohio congressman who is attempting to unseat Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi, Tim Ryan (D-OH), appeared on CNN’s New Day on Tuesday to discuss the leadership election and Monday’s tragic terrorist attack at Ohio State University that occurred.
CNN’s Alisyn Camerota asked Ryan about legislation that is pending in the Ohio Senate that would allow concealed carry on colleges in Ohio.
“I think that college campuses and other areas need to be safe havens, and I get it, I understand the other side of the argument, but there are certain places that I think need to be kind of insulated from guns,” Ryan told Camerota.
