The attack came days before Trump even took the oath of office…
Outgoing Secretary of Labor Tom Perez attacked Donald Trump for not having fulfilled any of his campaign promises during the Democratic National Committee debate Wednesday evening.
“What I heard in my travels, I was in Ohio last week, is that message of economic opportunity. Jobs, jobs, jobs. That was a promise he made, and he’s broken that promise,” Perez told the audience.
Secretary Perez is correct that Donald Trump did promise to be the greatest jobs President God ever created, but it should also be noted that Trump does not assume the office of President until noon on January 20. Perez’s politically-driven attack is a bit premature.
